The Egyptian Mau Club - Club Trophies

The Egyptian Mau Club awards a range of trophies each year at our Annual General Meeting to mark the achievements and successes of our members' Maus during the year. The trophies fall into two groups:

The first group of trophies are awarded to Maus that are category winners in the Club's own annual show which is held in October each year; and:

The second group of trophies are awarded based on the overall successes of our members individual Maus at any/all GCCF Championship Shows held throughout the show year, which runs from 1st June to 31st May. In order to participate in the competition to win one of the trophies in this group, members must submit their show results to the Cup Secretary within four weeks of the date of each show for which results are being submitted. This more limited time window for the submission of results will apply to shows held on and after [date to be advised]. In combination with this change, the Club intends to publish the points totals on this site so that members are able to see how their Maus are getting on, which we hope will encourage increased competition between members and that you submit your results quickly.

Details of how and where to send your results are included in the Show Results form.

Trophy table at the 2014 AGM

Photo of Egyptian Mau Club Trophies In my roll as trophy secretary i totalled every ones points for the year from the GCCF website, which was a suggestion from our member Steve Murton after he posted his points last year and i did not receive them , which was very disappointing for him and Julie. I must say i was a bit resistant to it at first but after having done it i can see the benefit of it. Therefore, this year i will total points on a monthly basis and put the results on the website on this page and in the News letter.
