The aims of the club are to develop and promote the Egyptian Mau breed in the UK, and to work towards recognition of the breed by the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy (GCCF). The Egyptian Mau Club is a United Kingdom based cat club dedicated to the Egyptian Mau. Thanks to the commitment of the committee and the support of Mau breeders and owners, as of 1st June 2007, the Egyptian Mau has been promoted to Championship Status with theGCCF. Maus will then compete at GCCF shows for Challenge and Premier Certificates and later for Grand Challengeand Grand Premier Certificates. Ultimately Maus can compete for Imperial Grand and UK Grand Certificates. Well Done Everyone and in particular our beautiful Maus that have impressed their judges! Contact:-
